Groundbreaking and Open House 2009 !
On May 2, we held our annual May Crowning and Open House. However, this year we began the day with the Groundbreaking Cermony for Father of Mercy Chapel and additional residence. It was a wonderful day! Although rain had been in the forecast for the day, it held off and the sun even came out. Watch the slideshow to see pictures of the day!

Community Retreat

Eighteen Sisters went on retreat May 20-27 in Chardon, OH. Fr. Joe Lehman, T.O.R., Mary Kay Lacke, and Fr. Vit Fiala, OFM were the retreat directors. Our annual retreat is a huge blessing, and we always look forward to this time of prayer, silence, and solitude.

Welcome Home, Gaming Sisters!

Our sisters from Gaming came home at the beginning of May. It is so good to have everyone here. The postulants met some of them for the first time. Sr. Monica left a few days later on a mission trip to Ecuador with students from Franciscan University (right).
