Parish Mission in Strongsville, OH

Sr. Mary Catherine, Sr. Maria Pio, Sr. Maria Teresa, and Sr. Miri Francesca gave a three night mission at St. Joseph's in Strongsville, OH. The theme for the mission was "The Word became flesh and dwelt among us". The Sisters gave talks each night on the Eucharist. Sr. Maria Pio began the mission with a talk entitled "Eucharistic Amazement in an Entertainment World." The second night Sr. Mary Catherine gave an amazing summary of John Paul the Great's Theology of the Body as it relates to the Eucharist. Sr. Maria Teresa and Sr. Miri Francesca spoke the third night on how we are called to live the Mass in our day to day life. The mission closed with a period of Eucharistic Adoration and in the fashion of the woman who touched Jesus' cloak, each person was given the opportunity to touch the humeral veil and personally pray before Jesus in the monstrance.

January 25th-27th: Youth Ministers Conference at Franciscan University (Sr. Therese Marie will be speaking)

February 2nd: Our candidates enter postulancy!

February 8th-10th: Womanhood retreat for women at Franciscan University, 2 of our sisters will be present
