Thanksgiving Lamp DinneR

Two Saturdays a month our Sisters at Heart of Mary (our mission house in dowtown Steubenville) along with Sr. Anne Marie and other volunteers provide some catechesis and a breakfast for the poor in downtown Steubenville. On November 22nd they, along with our novices, provided a Thanksgiving dinner and catechesis on the Scripture of the 10 lepers (including a skit which you can see below) centered on the theme of gratitiude.

Sisters in Initial Formation

Sr. Anne Marie teaching the SistersOur Novices and candidates are benefiting from the training Sr. Anne Marie received last year at Sacred Heart Major Seminary. She received her Masters in the New Evangelization and is doing ministry formation for the Sisters. Our novices have been studying hard and the candidates adjusting well to our way of life. Parish Mission
Sisters on missionOn October 12-14 Sr. Mary Catherine, Sr. Maria Teresa, and Sr. Eliana gave a parish mission to Our Lady of the Valley Church in Donora, PA. The theme was the Eucharist and the talks included "Eucharistic Amazement in an Entertainment World", "The Eucharist and the Theology of the Body", and "Becoming Eucharist for Others". They also gave a presentation to the parish school on the Mass and vocations (right).

On the left is Sisters with the women who came for our Vocation Discernment Retreat October 31st-November 2nd.

Sr. Therese Marie gave a series of four talks on "Intimacy with Christ" to the women at Franciscan University in October and November. The four parts were "Desire", "Presence", "Nakedness" and "Sacrifice". It focused on womanhood and prayer.

January 22nd: March For Life, 10 of our Sisters will be attending

January 31st: Postulant Entrance: Our candidates enter postulancy
