Summer is always a busy time in community, and this summer was no different. One of the things that keeps us so busy is Franciscan University Summer Conferences. We are blessed to be able to participate in many ways. Our sisters spoke at some conferences, were present at others, and we coordinated the Religious Sisters Conference this year.

The end of the summer was full of other community events. First, our two postulants, Sarah and Heather, became novices, and received the names Sr. Sarah Rose and Sr. Maria Clare. We rejoice with our two new sisters. Then all of the sister's in temporary vows renewed their profession of the vows of chastity, poverty and obedience. Finally, on August 9, Caroline, Annie, and Katie came to join us as candidates. We are so excited to have them with us finally. Pictures of each of these events are in the slideshow.
